Admission
How Hospital Admission Works
Patients are admitted through the Emergency Unit, outpatient referral, or elective scheduling. A duty physician confirms the need for admission and bed availability.
Steps to Get Admitted
- Doctor referral or emergency evaluation
- Registration and consent
- Bed assignment (general, cabin, or ICU as indicated)
- Initial labs and treatment plan
Documents to Bring
- Photo ID and contact details of an attendant
- Medical records, imaging, and prescriptions
- Insurance/TPA documents if applicable
Billing & Deposits
Estimated costs are shared at admission. Deposits may apply for planned procedures or long stays. Final bills include bed charges, nursing, investigations, and medicines used.
Visitor Policy
Visiting hours are limited for patient rest and infection control. Only one attendant is allowed with inpatients unless medically required.
Discharge Planning
On discharge, you receive a summary, prescriptions, and follow-up dates. Settle bills at the cashier before leaving.
